Sunset Flowers

When you choose the right flower types and colors, you can create flower arrangements and bouquets which look exactly like a sunset. And that’s precisely what we did in this product range. We use colors such as yellow, flame orange, burgundy, and cherry red to create sunset flowers that make you feel like you’re on safari or at the beach. Few things match the natural aesthetic of a setting sun. Our sunset with flowers collection captures those visuals and lets you gift them to someone special.

Flowers That Represent The Sunset

Flowers that represent the sunset are ones which capture the aesthetic of a setting sun on a hot summer's day. What’s most important is the vibrancy in the color of each petal. They need to include a wide spectrum of colors including gold, yellow, red, pink, orange and burgundy in a variety of shades.

Here is our list of flowers that match this color profile and represent summer:

  • Marigolds
  • Zinnias
  • Chrysanthemums
  • Roses
  • Tulips
  • Gerbera daisies
  • Alstroemeria

Each of the flowers above capture the color palette of bright burning sunsets. They also contain delicately textured petals so that any sunset flower arrangement they belong to has a luxurious feel.

Which Flowers Bloom At Sunset?

It’s important to mention that flowers don’t bloom at sunset per se. The blooming of flowers is directly tied to light and temperature during seasons of the year, not sunsets.

Having said that, there are some flowers that open up their petals or have their strongest aroma around sunset. Here are some examples:

  • Evening Primrose
  • Moonflower
  • Mirabilis jalapa
  • Night phlox
  • Angel’s trumpet
  • Tuberose
  • Night-blooming jasmine

What Flower Symbolizes The Sun?

The clue is in the name! The sunflower is the flower which most symbolizes the sun. More than that, Sunflowers visually look like a hot sun, with its brown center and circular yellow petals.

In their infancy, sunflowers are known to follow the sun’s direction by turning their face. It’s a phenomenon called heliotropism. However, they do stop turning once the blooms become too heavy.
