What Flower Represents Summer?

If we had to choose just one flower to represent summer, it’s hard to look past the sunflower. When we think of summer, we think of hot days with the sun blazing down on us - the sunflower is this exact image in microcosm. 

Sunflowers also traditionally bloom during the summer months. And where they’re young, sunflowers are known to change direction as they follow the sun’s movement across the sky. When you look at all the factors it’s hard to argue against the sunflower being the ultimate summer flower.
