The Super Bowl is the biggest day in football — full of energy, excitement, and over-the-top moments. Between the halftime show, the commercials, and the game itself, there’s so much happening. But there’s one detail that quietly changes the entire feel of the event… the flowers. Yup you heard me right... Super Bowl & Flowers !
That’s where we, The Hidden Garden, come in.
For over 17 years (this will be our 18th Super Bowl!), we’ve had the honor of designing florals for one of the NFL’s most iconic pre-game experiences: the exclusive Super Bowl Tailgate Party. This is where guests arrive hours before kickoff to eat, drink, listen to music, and soak in the atmosphere before the big game begins. It’s high energy, beautifully produced, and full of incredible details. We are so lucky to have been a part of this event since 2008, with our first one in Phoenix AZ, as a trusted Super Bowl florist.
This year we head to Santa Clara, California, with events surrounding Levi’s Stadium. One of the things we love most about this location is that we can truck everything up from Los Angeles, which makes a huge difference for our team. We’re able to bring in supplies locally and control our product, rather than shipping and juggling airport pickups. It makes the install smoother — and trust us, on Super Bowl week, smooth matters. If you didn't catch us last year heading to New Orleans with the Semi Truck....this year will be the same! We'll be sure to share that on our Instagram feed!
The Tailgate Party itself is an entire world built from the ground up — tents, lounges, dining areas, bars, buffets — all created by an amazing group of designers and vendors working together. Our role is bringing the floral layer that ties everything together and softens the space, adding life, color, and texture to an environment that’s built in just days.
And we don’t just “add flowers.” We design to the city, the vibe, and the setting every single year. Each year is a new design element so we have a ton of fun when the new Design Deck from the NFL hits our desk.
In past years, we’ve leaned into location in a big way — desert-inspired tones in Phoenix with succulents and warm rusty colors, bold and dramatic palettes in Las Vegas with purples, tropical moments, and creamy whites that turned the desert into an oasis.
This year, our designs are inspired by Northern California’s landscape and that Bay Area energy — fresh textures, layered greens, seasonal blooms, and a color story that feels coastal, modern, and vibrant all at once.
Throughout the event, guests are surrounded by flowers — statement pieces at entrances, lush centerpieces on dining tables, floral moments at bars and lounges, and those small details that make everything feel elevated without people even realizing why.
That’s the magic of what we do.
Being part of this event year after year is something we never take for granted. The scale is big, the timelines are tight, and the pressure is real — but this is where our team thrives. We love hitting the road together and making magic happen. Transforming a massive, fast-paced environment into something beautiful, welcoming, and memorable is exactly what we’re built for.
